Apple: Developers must use Xcode 13 to create apps starting April 25

On Tuesday, March 16, Apple sent developers a reminder that the requirements for submitting apps to the App Store are about to change. Starting April 25, 2022, all apps created for Apple-owned platforms must be built using Xcode 13, the latest version of the SDK.
Apple says Xcode 13 includes the latest versions of the SDKs for its operating systems, including iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 and macOS Monterey. in this way, Apple will only accept new apps that are compatible with the latest versions of iOS, macOS and other systems. That means developers will have to use Xcode 13 to develop their apps next month, and will support the new APIs that come with iOS 15 and macOS Monterey, including SwiftUI, ARKit 5, Safari Extensions for iOS, ShazamKit, and SharePlay.
-----Take advantage of the exciting features in iOS15, iPadOS15, and watchOS8 to deliver a more intuitive and valuable user experience. Improve your app's performance by refactoring your code to take advantage of the asynchronous functions in Swift. And with the latest updates to SwiftUI, you can enhance your app with new features such as improved list views, a better search experience, and support for controlling focus areas.

It's important to note that while newly developed apps must be built with the latest version of Xcode, they can still support older versions of Apple's operating systems, such as iOS 14 and macOS Big Sur.
